Chapter 2: If Only
A raven-haired, taciturn boy made his way up Mt. Silver. He went by the name of Red which was also the colour of his eyes. And those eyes were currently unseeing of the path up the mountain, though his feet knew the trail by heart. No, his thoughts were on other things.
The morning's conversation replayed itself in his head.

"What are you doing, Red; did you have enough last night?" The obvious frown was disapproving on Green's face. Red didn't want to let go of Green's warm body; it was moments like these he cherished, even if Green didn't feel so too.

He'd seen this all before. The room they were in, the carpet they walked upon, the light of the outside illuminating the room the words of the young man beside him. They were walking towards the light slowly, pausing every now and then as the young man said a few more words. His heart sank more and more as they came closer to the end of their walk. He knew what was coming. Why was he reliving this scene again? He already knew he couldn't stop what was about to happen. So why ?
